Can I leave this until later?! Or perhaps I could put it this way: I'm the kind of person who's drawn to realness, openness, humility and honesty in others and feel that I try to be as such myself. I cherish loyalty in friendship and find vanity, self-centredness and deception really off-putting! Especially when I find them in me! I'm not a game player and as such am not here to play (or be played!) - much more into what you see is what you get! I'm not someone who is looking for perfection realising none of us are, I'd be the first to admit that I have my faults and make my mistakes, that I'm a sinner, but thank GOD that I'm also a forgiven one and ever learning! Yes, hopefully it can be said of me that I'm someone who tries to learn from their mistakes and that their heart is in the right place. I don't like to stay stagnant or see myself as having ever arrived (not at least until heaven!), but rather constantly aim for growth both personally and in my relationship with GOD, and in one sense see life as one big learning experience and as such try to remain open to the lessons along the way. Life is something to be embraced and lived to the full, it's precious and a blessing to be a part of the adventure that it is! (I think it becomes even more so when you have someone special to share it with! ;) ) | | I like these kinds of music: | All sorts and a variety of genres! | | I usually read: | The Bible! I'm currently training to be a counsellor/therapist and loving it! But I guess in a way, all my personal goals are encapsulated in this, my number one goal or ambition in life, to glorify and pursue GOD in whatever I do or wherever I go. As the Bible says, "seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you". Only GOD knows where this will lead, and whether or not that's to, well, you know, something a bit more than a 'pen pal'! But I guess that would be a good start! :)
I guess I'm just trying to find the 'woman' that GOD has for me - my Eve - to share my life with! After all, the Bible says that, 'whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour of the LORD'! If you don't seek you won't find, right?! And what guy wouldn't want that kind of favour bonus?! :) |
